I think it would have to be Luke 2:11-12!
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”
Christmas in a nutshell! :)
Love those verses. How perfect! Thank you for commenting, Melanie!!
One of my favorites is Isaiah 9:6
“For a child will be born to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.”
One of my favorites!! I love how verse 7 goes on to say, “of the increase of His government there will be no end…” ❤️
I love the entire 1st chapter of Luke but if I have to narrow it down I would say Verses 78-79 are my favorite!! :)
Lovely! <3
Micah 5:2
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”
One of my favorites this year!! <3
“Jesus wept.”
-Gospel of John, 11:35
One verse with so much depth! Thank you for commenting, Maureen. <3
