Today I was reminded of Psalm 63 where it says “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for Thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is”. Just like I don’t like to miss my first meal of the day[y’all, I love my breakfast], I make it my goal to not miss my morning time in God’s Word! To make it a priority and something I spiritually hunger for. His Word my spiritual nutrition and fuel for the day! “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matt 4:4. Through His Word, I taste and see His goodness. It fills me up and satisfies my hungering soul! So, today don’t forget to consume the Word of God. Absorb it and be filled with it! “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.” Jer 15:16.
