Today I have Matthew 11:28-30 on my minds. The first verse is one that brings so much joy to the heart and peace to a weary soul when Christ Jesus says, “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” ? Christ is our Peace and He offers rest to our souls that will be found in no other person or source! I am reminded of Jeremiah 31:25 “For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.” Today I would love to hear what versy the Lord has been using to encourage YOU. I have the comment section open for this post so bless us here at Garlands of Grace by commenting below and letting us know!✨✨

Oooh! Today’s verse(s) have been from Colossians!! “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.” Colossians 3:12-14 <3
The verse that has really been encouraging me lately is when Jesus bids us to, “…come boldly to the throne of grace, so that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need!”
That is a favorite of mine!! Thank you for sharing, Nina. <3 <3
My mom very recently and unexpectedly fell asleep in Christ. I think about her favorite verse all the time, Isaiah 43:1-2
May the Lord comfort your heart, Aimee. ? I share her favorite! Love verse 2 and the promise it holds:
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2
“I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.” Jeremiah 31:3
What a beautiful verse for the day!
Was just reading Jer 31:3!! ❤️❤️
“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.”
I Corinthians 13:4-8
I truly have not known love until I knew His love. I’m working on memorizing this verse so that all my actions may be properly measured. What joy, that is found in the mercies of His love!
Amen! Thank you for sharing those verses and the truth that by His love we learn what true love is.❤️ “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. “ 1 John 3:16
A verse that God has used to encourage my heart is
Psalm 62:8
“Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.”
So thankful God gave us the Bible!! :)
