💫 Each Christmas there’s a word that jumps out to me and becomes my “theme word” for the season. Does anyone else have this happen to them or am I alone? 🙈❤️ This year that word was PEACE! This is a season we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the long awaited Messiah! He is Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of PEACE[Isaiah 9:6]. God manifest in the flesh[1 Timothy 3:16, John 1:1-4, John 1:14], The One who has saved His people from their sins[Matt 1:21]! In Christ, we are promised a PERFECT PEACE[Isaiah 26:3, John 14:27, Romans 15:13]. ✨My favorite verses this season have been from Luke 1:78-79 where it says, “Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of PEACE.” Through the tender mercy of our God we can have peace… that is amazing and so humbling! Jesus Christ(Lord and Savior of the universe) is our Peace, He is the Prince of Peace, and the giver of perfect Peace. It is my prayer that you have found perfect peace that comes through the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord! “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

”That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father” Ephesians 2:12-18

✨“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.…. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:1-4,14

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Matt 11:28-29
