Aren’t hummingbirds beautiful?! 😊 They are my favorite bird because of their tiny frame yet amazing design and energy! 😍 We have 3 feeders on our front porch and some days I just sit there, watching the hummingbirds feed, listening to the noise of their tiny wings moving so fast! I heard once that hummingbirds beat their wings more than 50 times per second.🙊 It is amazing to see how the Lord God created them so intricately and cares for them so masterfully. So much care poured into a bird weighing less than a nickel and to think, we are of so much “more value” than those tiny beautiful birds! 💝

A very random coffee break musing! How many of y’all find sometimes you just need to take a moment to be still and refocus? I do!! 🙋🏼♀️ I love the command in Psalm 46 as it says, “Be still, and know that I am God”! In the chaos and commotion of the world, when life’s storms come our way, and the waves threaten to overwhelm us we must set our sights steadfastly on the Lord God who is our Refuge and Strength, our VERY PRESENT help in trouble(Ps 46).🙏🏼🧡 I am reminded of Isaiah 50:7 as it says, “For the Lord God will help Me, therefore shall I not be confounded; therefore have I set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.” Don’t be afraid to take a moment, breathe deep, be still and remind yourself that HE IS GOD, He will will be exalted among the nations, He will be exalted in the earth. With a lovely mug of coffee and delicious Macroons to enjoy, I am meditating on God’s Word this beautiful morning! 🦋✨ I love Jeremiah 15:16 as it says, “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and Thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.” What a beautiful picture this paints and how true it is!! God’s Word brings Joy and gives HOPE! I am reminded of Psalm 130:6 as it says, “My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.” In need of encouragement? Direction? Wisdom? Opened the Word! We are told “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12. What have you read that is encouraging your heart this morning? I hope and pray your Friday is filled to the brim and overlowing with belssings! 🙋🏼♀️🧡
