O holy night! the stars are brightly shining; It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth. Long lay the world in sin and error pining, Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope–the weary world rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn! Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born! O night, O holy night, O night divine!
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” 1 Peter 1:3-5
“Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” Luke 1:78-79

“For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.-Isaiah 12:2-4

The perfect cup of festive goodness for the cold December days! Sharing my recipe with you today. ENJOY! ☕️🍫
Ingredients:
2 ounces Dark Chocolate finely chopped (I used 71% Dark)
1 TBS Cocoa Powder
1 1/2 TBS Raw Sugar (regular white sugar works too!)
2 TBS Heavy Cream (or half & half)
1/4 TSP Ground Cinnamon
1/8 TSP Ground Nutmeg
1 Pinch Ground Cayenne
Dash Salt
1 Cup Milk
1/2 TSP Vanilla Extract
Directions: 1.) In a heavy-bottom saucepan combine Heavy Cream, Raw Sugar, Cocoa Powder, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cayenne, and Salt. Whisk quickly and continuously on medium-high heat until chocolate is thoroughly melted and the mixture is slightly bubbly! 2.) Slowly whisk in milk and continue to stir over medium heat until the desired temperature is reached. Add vanilla and whisk vigorously to create a nice froth! You can also use an immersion blender for this step. 3.) Pour into your favorite mug, top with marshmallows or homemade whipped cream, and ENJOY!!
