Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

“And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?”
Matthew 6:28-30

✨Seek

“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Iced Mocha! 😍

Happy Monday! It’s a hot day and lots to do. I’m jump-starting the week with an Iced Mocha in hand. 🙌🏻🍫 Looking forward to all this week has in store and trusting the Lord to faithfully guide me every step of the way! As I opened my bible this morning I found myself at Proverbs 3:26 and soaking up the blessed truth that God is our Confidence! “For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.” I was reminded of Psalm 65:5 where it says, “God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth”. He is our confidence (certainty, assurance, stability) and He can be trusted! Happy Monday, Y’all!

How about my Quicky Monday Iced Mocha Recipe??

  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup super-strong coffee
  • 2 TBS Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1TBS raw Sugar
  • 4 TBS whole milk
  • Dash vanilla
  • Ice

Directions: Pour hot coffee over sugar and chocolate chips to dissolve. Add milk and vanilla then blend with an immersion blender (or some type of smoothie blender) until frothy. Pour over ice!! ENJOY 😁❤️

“For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.”
Proverbs 3:26

“My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:  Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.”
Proverbs 6:20-22
