As a sweet friend put it, “not just skimming over the top of our “required daily reading.” To drink it in, to ponder it deeply, to study it, and to OBEY IT, to be a doer of the Word, and not a hearer only.” It is my heart’s desire, prayer, and resolution to THRIVE in the WORD. May we seek The Lord God deeply and develop vigorously. May His Word be our constant source of delight and mediation day and night(Psalm 1)! May we be as that tree planted by the river of water, deeply rooted in the Word of God, trusting and hoping in Him, never anxious in seasons of “drought”, nor effected by the heat that is to come, and NEVER ceasing from yielding good fruit. May we truly THRIVE in the Lord and His Word! ❤️🙏🏼

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. ✨Enjoying a quick cup of coffee and stopping in here to say hello to you all before I jump into the busy day ahead!! 🙋🏼‍♀️☕️ Psalm 71 has been on my heart this morning. Packed full of so much beauty! Verse 14 is a personal favorite for me, “But I will HOPE continually, and will yet praise THEE more and more.” So thankful for the eternal hope we have in Christ Jesus our Lord! ❤️ This reminds me of the portion of 1 Peter 1 I an currently enjoying:

Happy Monday! || QUESTION

✨It’s Monday!! ✨🙌🏻 Started the day out in the Word and was completely renewed by His Truth and the promises found within!! It prepared me for the busy day! If you don’t already, I can’t encourage you enough to make a goal of starting your day off in His Living Word. Before you set eyes on your phone notifications or jump into the day’s work or even before your feet even touch the ground(if possible-I know many mom’s have their feet touching the ground all night and morning to care for their precious little ones), nourish your soul and renew it in the Word of God! I love how Jeremiah 15:16 puts it, “Thy Words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.” 💗

An extremely simple and practical tip I’ve found helps me prioritize my Bible reading is using an actual physical Bible when doing my morning and evening reading. the Bible apps are great tools and come in handy but believe me… the detraction of notifications is real(can I hear a few amens?!😉) I will keep my main bible on my nightstand next to my bed so it’s ready to greet me when I wake up. Ok, back to work here!
