It’s a blustery cold day out! ❄️ Scarves and mittens are a must and Garlands of Grace headwraps are keeping heads cozy-warm…. It’s just the weather that calls for a large pot of supremely delicious and chocolatey Cocoa!! ??☕️ This recipe has been a family favorite for years and is so simple to make. ?Emmi prefers her Cocoa with quite a few mini marshmallow on top! And she is keeping her tiny ears warm with her Katherine’s Stretch Headband in Cranberry Velveteen!! ? Whether you prefer marshmallows or whipped cream to adorn your mug of Hot Chocolate, you will be sure to love this recipe!! ✨❤️
1/2 cup sugar (we love to use raw sugar when it’s available!)
1/3 cup water hot
4 cups milk (whole is always best ;))
1/2 TBS Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in medium saucepan; stir in water. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; boil and stir 2 minutes. Add milk; stir and heat until hot. Do Not Boil. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Beat with whisk until foamy. Top with your favorite Hot Cocoa toppings and enjoy!!
