“From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
Psalm 61:2

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

How is that for a promise? To mount up with wings like the eagle! Did you know The Lord has designed the eagle to use the storms winds to lift it higher? It’s true! And as we face storms of life, by God’s strength, we can become spiritually stronger and soar higher in the midst of them. I’m reminded of James 1 where it says:

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
James 1:2-4
